Kids Enrichment Classes at Austin Discovery School
Fridays at Austin Discovery School are dedicated to flexibility and exploration. With class-free Fridays, parents enjoy the freedom to adjust schedules while students gain the opportunity to expand their horizons and try new extracurricular activities through our Enrichment Classes.
Teacher-Led Enrichment Classes
Our fee-based classes are all taught in-house by our talented teachers and staff, ensuring high-quality instruction across a variety of engaging subjects. Popular options include Yoga, Baking, Dungeons and Dragons Club, Chess Club, and Ukulele Lessons. This choice-driven approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning, explore their passions, and develop new skills in a fun, supportive environment. Classes are offered at various times on Fridays and change each semester, so stay tuned for updates!

Friday Full-Day After Care
For families needing additional support, we also offer full-day aftercare on Fridays, as well as free tutoring services. These options provide a safe, engaging space where students can continue learning, connecting, and thriving. Fridays at ADS are not just a break from routine; they are a chance for students to explore, discover, and grow.

Yes! Friday enrichment classes are open to anyone. Please indicate on the signup form if your child is not an ADS student.

Different classes may have different age requirements, so please be sure to check the signup form carefully to make sure you are enrolling in an age-appropriate class.

Each class meets at a different time, so please be sure to read the signup form carefully. Also, some enrichment classes may not meet every Friday. The signup form includes a complete list of dates that each class meets.

No, but we recommend enrolling in After Care for drop-in service, in the event that you arrive early to drop-off or late to pickup. This way, your child can join the After Care group if needed, at the registered drop-in rate.

Yes! We welcome all children 4 years and up who are fully potty trained. Please check the sign up form for details on which classes are age appropriate.

Once you’ve submitted the sign up form and indicated which classes you are interested in, we will get back to you via email shortly! In the event that a class does not meet the minimum required number of students and has to be cancelled, we will also contact you via email. For classes that are overbooked, ADS students and their non-ADS siblings will get priority.

All of our Enrichment Class and After Care enrollment and billing happens through the Brightwheel app. Once you’ve signed up for an Enrichment Class, we will send you an invoice via Brightwheel within 7 days, or when the class reached the minimum number of students. You can pay the invoice in the Brightwheel app by entering your payment information. First time registrants will also incur a one-time registration fee.
Please note that there are no refunds and no substitutions for Enrichment Classes once the invoice has been paid.
