Austin Discovery School is a tuition-free elementary charter school located in East Austin. We are "open enrollment," and continually fill available spots throughout the school year. When we have more applications than spaces, they are filled through a random lottery in April for the upcoming school year. Siblings of currently enrolled students have priority.
Austin Discovery School does not discriminate in admissions based on gender, national origin, citizenship status, ethnicity, religion, disability, or the district the child would otherwise attend.

The lottery is conducted the first business day of April for the upcoming school year. Parents will receive an email offering enrollment as spots become available. You are welcome and encouraged to apply after April! Applicants will receive an email as spots become available.
6. Fill out an enrollment application
Once you accept a spot, please submit an enrollment form and copies/pictures of your child’s birth certificate, social security card, and immunization records.
